Brian Davis, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and dual fellowship-trained specialist in orthopedic sports medicine and shoulder and elbow surgery. He cares for a wide range of shoulder, elbow and knee conditions and has advanced training in arthroscopic surgery, fracture care, joint replacement, sports injuries, ligament repair and reconstruction, cartilage restoration, rotator cuff repair and limb realignment procedures. He uses modern, minimally invasive techniques when appropriate to help patients heal and get back to moving comfortably.

A Colorado native, Dr. Davis earned his Bachelor of Science in biological science from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO, then went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, CO. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He then pursued advanced fellowship training in several specialty areas, including an international shoulder and elbow fellowship at Lindenhofspital in Berne, Switzerland, under Prof. Dr. med. Ralph Hertel. He also completed an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the UCHealth Steadman Hawkins Clinic Denver in Englewood, CO, followed by additional shoulder and elbow fellowship training at Western Orthopaedics/Denver Shoulder and HCA HealthONE Rose in Denver, CO.

During his sports medicine fellowship, Dr. Davis served as a fellow team physician for the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies. He has also traveled internationally to provide slopeside coverage for U.S. Ski & Snowboard events and to participate in medical and surgical mission trips to Haiti and Guatemala.

Dr. Davis believes in working closely with patients to help them understand their conditions, explore their treatment options and choose the approach that best fits their goals. Whether someone is dealing with an everyday injury, a sports-related condition or ongoing joint pain, he is committed to helping them recover and get back to the activities they love.
