Simple Pool Exercises as Wound is Healing
Here are some simple exercises you can perform in the pool as soon as your wound heals to improve the range of motion of your shoulder. The key to performing these exercises is that they are performed SLOWLY, without feeling of major resistance. Once the shoulder feels like it wants to stop, stop! I recommend that these exercises be performed during the first three months after shoulder surgery. When the motions become too easy, purchasing a snorkel and leaning forward in the pool can allow for further motion overhead.
